This is one of the smoothest bourbons I've ever had. Not only does it go down smooth neat, but it is also great on the rocks. A true testament to this whiskey's finish and overall style. You can smell the oak, perhaps even the double oak! But that charred smell doesn't linger on the palette, it only delights in the after taste. It's quite strong, being about 90 proof and it doesn't leave you hanging in terms of power. It's oaky, smooth, strong, exactly how bourbon should taste. 9.5/10

This Woodford Reserve... man, how eloquent. It's got a really nice taste; smooth and friendly. At first nose, you can really perceive the oakiness. But other than that it is true to itself; not overly complex, but simple and honest and for that reason it is delectable. It's understated and delicious. 9/10
