We went in this Christmas. This whiskey was an indulgence and gift to one another to celebrate the holidays. The description on the bottle matches perfectly to what you taste and how you feel. The nose is creamy, smooth and lingers until your first sip. And oh, is that first sip special. Like most whiskeys it hits you with the quick "yes I'm whiskey" taste but from then on it surpasses your expectations. It's tantalizingly sweet without being sugary. It lingers on the palate longingly and lovingly. It's crisp, it's smooth, and it makes me sad that I can't have it all the time. A perfect whiskey for indulging, enjoying, and tasting. Overall a perfect 10/10.

Well, we finally did it. We spent almost $300 on a bottle of whiskey and boy... WAS IT WORTH IT!!!!! Our first excursion with Redbreast 12 was UNBELIEVABLE, but this was truly special. It's hard to ignore the price of something beyond a certain point but damn, how lovely. It was full of such comforting flavor from the start, and only got better. really just delicious, great flavor throughout. I think the vanilla stood out the most for me, but everything else was near perfect. Proud to give it a 10/10.
