The tasting notes are on point, minus the vanilla. You definitely taste the oak notes, and the lingering smoothness. It's a surprisingly good whiskey and the company certainly helps. It's rich, and smooth and shockingly crisp. I'd recommend this as a gift or a party beverage.

It was smoother than expected; happily flavorful and full bodied. In the context of Whiskey Tuesday with Matt and Ryan as special guests, and a wonderful spread of wings and Alexia fries; this whisky was well received. It was a lovely evening with great friends at the end of the holiday season, well fitting whiskey.

Overall a solid whiskey. I never tasted the vanilla that the bottle hinted at but there was a definite oak barrel taste. Best thing about it was that it went down smooth, I would have the whiskey again in any occasion. Also we dominated 4 on the world in NHL which makes everything better. 8.5/10

A fantastic Irish Whiskey! Not that we are rating Eagle Rare, but this is a much better whiskey than it. Great taste and even better smoothness. This whiskey can make your average PS4 player into an all-start NHL player, scoring goals and killing people. 8/10
