First sip is smooth on the lips but don't worry the heat comes later. Burns and warms the soul on the way down. Has a surprising crispness to it which probably extends from it's Rocky Mountain waters. It's fresh and fruity after being chilled. I've never had a Colorado Whiskey before but this delightful first time definitely makes me want to partake again.
Crisp, clean, refreshing, fruity.

Early on it seemed like there was a hint of citrus, like it was an old fashioned in a bottle. It was nice, almost refreshing to drink after the initial burn, like you could taste the Rocky Mountain water it was made with. I could absolutely drink this time and time again. On top of that, I would love to visit this distillery, as they so cordially invite their drinkers to do, and get a real glimpse of how they make this delightful whiskey. It was smooth, tasteful, and easy to befriend. All in all, I give it a solid 8.5/10.
