"You hold in your hands a bottle of a one of a kind whisky, a blend of select oak aged whiskies finished in vintage port barrels and naturally matured by the elements. Traces of port remaining in the pores of the casks server to further condition and mellow the whisky while imparting a subtle fruitiness and warm toasted notes for a case as authentic and distinctive as the place where it was born."

Our first Canadian whiskey here on whisky Tuesdays and our neighbors to the north don't disappoint. Its smooth, boy is it smooth, almost to the point it doesn't feel like you're drinking anything. Honestly this is such a good whiskey that I could only ruin things by trying to write a fancy review. Try it, you'll like it, 8.5/10

First and foremost, I'm genuinely curious what it means for a whisky to be crafted by the elements. Regardless of what it means, it's a solid whisky. Its nose is mild, but indicative of a fruity taste, and it so delivered. From start to finish, it was smooth. I tasted a hint of fruit, but it was otherwise mild. Chilled it didn't taste like you were drinking liquor at all. I'd give it a respectable 8/10. O' CANADA!
