Tin Cup
Intangibles
(Comes with an actual tin cup on top!)
- Made in honor of Colorado's first whiskey drinkers and the tin cups they drank from. It's a blend of two great American whiskies. "High-Rye" bourbon distilled and aged in Indiana is blended with a small amount of Colorado's single malt whisky and then cut with Rocky Mountain water. Made by Jess Graber -- thanks, Jess!

For once, you can taste the blend in this whiskey. Some sips you can taste the bourbon but others you have to fall on scotch flavors. The aftertaste is aggressive scotch and doesn't leave way to the other whiskey in the blend. I was pumped for Tin Cup because my brother just purchased a house but unfortunately the whiskey didn't live up to that advertisement hype. Despite being played every other NHL playoff commercial, this whiskey falls short. I give it a 6/10.

Colorado can keep this whiskey and send over some potski. This whiskey was a tough one to take down, it was not that smooth and burned going down. The tin cup added some excitement but still only made this whiskey a 6/10. Don't think I'll have this again.

American marketing at its finest. I decided to try this whiskey based on the countless commercials I've seen during the NHL playoffs. Not sure if it was over-hyped or I really just don't like it, but it was just 'meh' for me. Not even the fact that we finally had an offer on a home accepted today could boost it up. I'd give it a 4/10. The scotch flavors really came through on this one, making for a less than smooth finish.
