Smells of honey, almost syrupy at first. The initial taste is not something worth noting but it is smooth when it hits your lips. As it chills, you'll start enjoying the flavor more and more. Ice really opens up the taste. The "spices" are muted at best and the raisins are thankfully not noticable as well. The honey is the flavor that shines, almost so much it could be a flat out honey whisky. Overall, it was a good blended whisky from Scotland and Spain. The journey this whisky took was remarkable and it is well worth the price of admission. I give it an 8/10. It's a taste that grows on you, absolutely. The aroma is heavy in honey, certainly. A Scottish Spanish, American whisky; made me feel nomadic, that's for sure. Best served chilled. It's got a surprisingly pleasant burn. Its taste was parallel to our endeavors tonight - simple, straight forward, yet winding up complex, but ultimately pleasurable. All-in-all I'd give it a 7/10.
