The first sip surprises you with its smoothness and actually lead me to exclaim "Damn, that's smooth". It continues to impress after that. The intangibles don't lie, you can taste the oak, the orange, and the subtle vanilla spice. This monkey has style. It's pleasant from start to finish. Speaking of finish, this whisky doesn't miss a beat, its after taste is just as smooth as the first sip. The nose is that of a bourbon, but everything else will remind you of an expensive scotch. 9/10, great value, great intangibles, great name, great whisky.

The orange was the strongest aroma, with an oakey smell at the tail end. Definitely a lovely taste overall. True to its word, it is very smooth and rich in flavor. It's easy to sip and grow fond of, as if every sip grants you another fun monkey to hang out with on your shoulder. Overall, including the impressive bottle presentation I would rate this an easy 8.5/10. Definitely will recommend it/gift it.
