The first taste is smooth and filled with caramel. There's nothing harsh about this bourbon and honestly this distillery has yet to disappoint. From the people who brought you Eagle Rare and Weller's, this whisky is just as smooth and flavorful as it's counterparts. For me, there was a mild aftertaste that I found unpleasant, but washing it down with more whiskey masks the taste. Overall, this is absolutely one of the best whiskey's for the price. 8/10

Jeff is a wizard. "You're a wizard, Jeffrey". I never thought a whiskey could embody such Americanism more than Eagle Rare, but damn, I tasted the legend of the Buffalo Trace, and the legends the blazed that trial, and the spirits that were left behind. It was smooth and welcoming, a superb whiskey, and modest in its stature; the trace was delightful. 8.5/10
